The Comedy Barn – Award Winning Clean Family Comedy!
The Comedy Barn in Pigeon Forge has been tickling funny bones with clean comedy for over 20 years. Located in Pigeon Forge this is a must-see family comedy show! It is the most attended and award winning show in the country.
The Comedy Barn Theater Pigeon Forge is the most award-winning family comedy variety show in the Smoky Mountains. It is full of comedians, musicians, jugglers, ventriloquists, animals and live country and gospel music. You will leave full of smiles and laughter thanks to the Comedy Barn Theater in Pigeon Forge.
Let’s start off with the stars of the show, The Comedy Critters. This hilarious cast of trained pigs, dogs, house cats, parrots and a mini-donkey has entertained audiences on “Animal Planet”, “The Tonight Show” and with the Royal Hanneford Circus. Now they swoop, waltz, ride, compete, howl, oink and bray to entertain Smoky Mountain visitors daily at the Comedy Barn Theater.
There are human critters who perform also, including Farmer Klemm, Danny, KatiAnne, Stephen, Alena, Tony, Carrie and Eric. All are veterans of the comedy circuit and Eric is a huge YouTube sensation as the humorist who plays “The Human Xylophone” on stage with three guests.
The musicians at the Comedy Barn Theater are among the most talented pickers and grinners in east Tennessee. They are the stars of the show (Don’t tell the animals!). They play with a skill and abandonment that matches the comedic spirit of the Barn and keeps the pace lively and upbeat. They do have a serious side which you will appreciate when they play some Gospel tunes which seem right at home with all of the hilarity.
The founders of the Comedy Barn Theater met in Pigeon Forge and were street performers, juggling for tips in New York and at the Village Gate Theater. Las Vegas was their next stop, then they boarded a Carnival Cruise Line and performed and managed the fun for a decade. They came back to Pigeon Forge and reopened the Archie Campbell Hee Haw Theater as The Comedy Barn Theater.
