The dream of flying has captivated man since the beginning of time. In Pigeon Forge, you can experience the thrill of flying at Flyaway Indoor Skydiving. You don’t have to jump out of a plane or fall from the sky to experience the thrill of flying at Flyaway Indoor Skydiving.

Flyaway features America’s first vertical wind tunnel. The expert instructors show you how to enter the tunnel and fly up the tunnel on a column of air. You will not only experience the feeling of weightlessness, but you can also do aerial tricks and maneuver up and down in the air column.

You will first attend a training class to learn body control techniques and safety procedures. Then you suit up with the flight suit, put on your helmet and enter the chamber. The flight instructor will give you and your group help and instruction and get you in the air. There are some height, weight, age and health restrictions and if you cannot fly then you can watch the action from the observation deck.

Coaching programs are available to help you polish your bodyflight skills. Sessions are videotaped to give you an important perspective to evaluate and judge your performance. Flyaway is also a valuable training resource for those considering skydiving. National and International Skydiving champions have trained at Flyaway. This is where months of field work can be replaced by a weekend of training. Also, unlike out-of-doors training, there are no bad weather days and no rigs to pack.
