Gatlinburg SkyPark: Gatlinburg’s Longest Running Attraction

Gatlinburg’s iconic SkyPark features the scenic Skypark experience, record-breaking SkyBridge, SkyTrail hiking path, Tulip Tower observation area, SkyDeck amphitheater and the SkyCenter mountain shop. You begin your ascent up the mountain on the SkyPark experience. Enjoy panoramic breathtaking views of the Great Smoky Mountains while tramming upwards towards the SkyCenter mountain shop. Once you’ve reached the top, you can take the walk across the longest SkyBridge in North America. Spanning 700′ across a deep valley and at 1,800 feet above sea level, this experience gives you an opportunity to take in rich views and sweet mountain air.

You can take the SkyTrail hiking path that connects each end of the SkyBridge and gives you an opportunity to take a leisurely hike in the mountains and enjoy new views of the famous SkyBridge! The trail is 1/3 mile long and offers an enjoyable walk for adults, kids and even dogs! The SkyTrail leads you to the Tulip Tower (only open during daylight hours) that is a 70′ steel tower set in the back of the ravine accessed by two rope bridges and features four elevated viewing platforms.

With all there is to see and do you are sure to work up an appetite. You can visit our SkyCenter located on the SkyDeck at the top of Crockett Mountain at  Gatlinburg SkyPark. The SkyCenter overlooks town featuring sweeping panoramic views in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Once inside, you can browse goods in the Gift shop or visit the second floor and enter the SkyCafe. Once there you will find Brews, Views and Good Food! Featuring an enormous seating area and bar area along with the greatest views you can find anywhere in the mountains!

After you’ve enjoyed all of the incredible fun activities, shopped for some keepsakes at the SkyCenter and enjoy great food & great views at the SkyCafe, you can sit down and relax on the SkyDeck. A relaxing and restful experience enjoying the views from far above the hustle and bustle of Gatlinburg.
