The Mountain Mile – Pigeon Forge

The Mountain Mile & Tower Shops is a remarkable new retail and attraction space, right in the heart of Pigeon Forge that is unrivaled in scale and experience. With a goal to reshape the retail, restaurant, lodging, and attraction experience in Pigeon Forge. Located on over 1 Mile of road frontage and 174+ acres, the facility is monstrous. Located along Teaster Lane and Jake Thomas Blvd the Mountain Mile has gained national significance.

Surrounded by the Cal Ripken Experience baseball park, the Leconte Convention Center, and The Island, it is central to all of the surrounding attractions while offering top-tier attractions, restaurants, and shopping of its own.

While driving down Teaster Ln. you will first notice the Mountain Monster. A 200′ tall tower designed by renowned thrill ride designer Stan Checketts. This tower is the base for 3 Super High-Intensity Rides.

Monster Fall:

a 200′ Drop Ride with only a lap belt and nothing to hold on to. Designed to make the riders totally exposed and simulate the thrill of a free-fall experience but safely.

Monster Dive:

The daddy of them all. Take a two-seat “elevator” inside the tower structure 200′ to the top, as anticipation builds as you can altitude. Once the retractable platform slides underneath, you walk to the front of the tower, where you enter the “dive cart”. As the platform opens, you tilt forward until you are facing the ground, looking down 200′ at the crowd. The car is released and you free fall like your skydiving, before restraints catch you and send you soaring over a water feature. You will enjoy the thrill of the ride as well as incredible views of the mountains and the entire City of Pigeon Forge.

Monster Launch

You and a partner sit back to back on a “saddle” while you are launched vertically over 170′ with a blast of compressed air. Huge Negative “G” Forces at the top are incredible and breathtaking. You can even choose to do a flip, If your brave enough!

In addition to the Mountain Mile’s size, incredible thrill rides and beautiful location, you can’t miss out on it’s wide variety of shops and restaurants. The Tower Shops at the Mountain Mile are almost as big of an attraction as the Mountain Monster!

With retail names like REI Co-Op, Nike Outlet, BAAK Boutique, The Mountain Mile General Store, and Appalachian Apparel Company you’ll have shopping opportunities for your favorite brands and maybe even discover a new favorite!

Places To Eat

They don’t only offer shopping, at the Mountain Mile you don’t want to the opportunities to try eateries like Cinnaholic, Junction 35 Kitchen and the Cream & Suger Sweet Shoppe. You could also stop in at the Coffee Armory (proudly serving Black Rifle Coffee Company products). Each of these great eateries offers a little something different, so there will be something for everyone.

Distilleries & Wineries

The Mountain Mile also adds to the fun by offering some premiere names in distilling and winemaking. Junction 35 Distillery proudly calls the Mountain Mile home along with Currahee Winery. Junction 35 offers a full line of Spirits with some rotating flavors and blends. Currahee Winery offers some delicious, award winning wines and wine products to those that enjoy quality wines.
