And when Tennessee state law changed to allow the distillation of spirits, the founders of Ole Smoky Moonshine jumped in with both feet and began to make superior mountain-made moonshine.

Ole Smoky Tennessee Moonshine is made with pride in “The Holler” in Gatlinburg. As you approach the building you can smell the distinct aroma of cooking and fermenting grains. Once inside you will see the authentic-working moonshine stills. The master distillers are on location so feel free to ask questions about the process, the ingredients and even the background.

You can choose from Original Unaged Corn Whiskey, White Lightnin’, Strawberry, Lemon drop, Blackberry Peach, Moonshine Cherries and their world famous Apple Pie. Ole Smoky has also branched out into whiskey that they age in White Oak Barrels for a true American authentic drinking experience. Ole Smoky Whiskey distills the whiskey in Gatlinburg. You can also visit the Ole Smoky location in Pigeon Forge at The Island in the Ole Smoky Barn. They are next to the Dancing Island Show Fountains and during the summer they host Bluegrass Concerts nightly.
