Come out and play with Rafting in the Smokies!

Rafting in the Smokies wants to know, “Do you want to come out to play?” If the answer is “yes” then contact their Reservation Office in Gatlinburg and sign-up for outrageous outdoor adventures including Family Float Trips, Ziplining, Ropes Courses and a Family Adventure Island, all located at their Outpost in Townsend, Tennessee.

Rafting in the Smokies has been rafting the Pigeon River for 35 years and offers professional guides and top quality equipment. Guides with names Too Late, Vegematic, Razor Blade, After Shave and Lost Guide will entertain and guide you and your family or group down the Pigeon River giving you an experience and memories that will last a lifetime.

To add to your outdoor experience, you can add a Zipline Tennessee Canopy Tour in the Smokies. Also, you can get your tour at a special price when they add it to your rafting package. You will ride 6 Ziplines, cross 2 sky bridges, and ride 2400 feet in the air and through the trees. And if that’s not enough adventure, add a High Element Rope Course to your package. Choose from four courses.

Class I is beginners and includes the Canopy Bridge, Free Line Bridge and the Sky Hammock. The Class II is more difficult and includes Painters Planks, Multi Vines and Balance Beam.  Class III is even more advanced with Tension Traverse, Silver Surfer and Wiggly Poles. And the most difficult challenge is the Class IV course, with Space Loops, Monkey Rings and River Serpents.

You must use a 150-foot swinging rope bridge to access the 10 Acre Family Adventure Island. You will find the Ropes Course and Ziplines on the island. Although its full of excitement you can also relax, picnic, play at the water’s edge or hunt for the Geocache Location.

Also, Packages and Combo deals are available so you, your family or your group can enjoy a day’s worth of activities at a reasonable cost. Rafting in the Smokies, your resource for the best Smoky Mountain Vacation.
