You can let your imagination run wild at WonderWorks Amusement Park for the Mind, in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. WonderWorks is one of the biggest and most popular of the attractions in the Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. You can see why as soon as you walk inside this upside-down attraction, which features 35,000 square ft of “edu-tainment.” The 100+ hands-on exhibits combine entertainment with education. The hands-on exhibits are to challenge your mind and to spark your imagination. Wonderworks offer fun for all!
There are six Wonder Zones to explore as you start your exciting journey through WonderWorks including the Light & Sound zone, Space discovery, Imagination Lab, and Far Out Art Gallery. Also experience Natural Disasters in the Hurricane Hole! And the Earthquake Café. Become a human lightning rod with Tesla’s Coil. Also, explore countries and continents with the Google Earth virtual globe and map. In addition, test your knowledge of disasters with the Trivia Wall. Then you can take series of Physical Challenges that include the Bed of Nails – ouch! – the three dimensional Wonder Wall, the Bubble Lab, Mindball, Pulley Power, Virtual Sports – are you as good as Peyton Manning? – Rock Climbing, Xtreme 360 Bikes and the very cool Virtual Army Experience, the Ultimate Army Game!
Find out how fun and cool science can be in the Light & Sound zone, put on a spacesuit and climb into a Mercury Capsule replica at Space discovery, and let your imagination loose in the Imagination Lab. The Far Out Art Gallery will trick your brain with illusion art and also let you experience the work of a forensic scientist in the Forensic Science Exhibit that opened in 2015.
